OUR FOUNDER

Arun is a business leader with 24+ years of experience in agriculture, home improvement, and telecom infrastructure, driving growth and transformation for leading global brands. An Agricultural Sciences graduate and ISB–Hyderabad alumnus in Business Strategy and Strategic Marketing.

He began at Cyanamid Agro India in 1997, rising to Area Manager, then joined Hunter Douglas India, advancing to Business Head – WCP and leading nationwide sales and licensing. In 2008, at Reliance Communications, he launched and scaled the tower infrastructure business.

From 2010–2015, as Country Representative for PhosChem and later Director – Sales & Marketing at The Mosaic Company, he expanded its network to 4,000+ rural outlets and launched new products to meet.

Since 2015, Arun has led Armon International, building strategic partnerships and expanding operations. He also serves on the expert panel of Atheneum Partners (GmbH), advising global crop nutrition leaders on market forecasts and supply chain optimization.

Armon International is a professional farm-management & post-harvest value chain aggregator with the mission to enable Indian farmers to participate in the growing global demand for SAFE food. Our operating philosophy is to upgrade India’s informal farming systems and post-harvest supply chains, to make it more accessible & palatable to international buyers & global food majors

We commenced operations in 2015 and have expanded our reach to >35,000 acres under Organic, IPM & Sustainable certification in partnership with ~9,000 farmers. Targeting high export potential categories, viz. Spices, Herbs, Grains, Pulses, Millets & Oilseeds.

To enable value-addition & improve market access of our farm produce we have third-party processing tie-up’s, which are certified organic and work under our direct supervision while processing our lots.

Armon’ management team possesses 100+ years of cumulative experience in agri-business trading, supply-chain & program management, along with Round-the-year deployment of our field team (24 members) to ensure proper monitoring & execution of our organic program
